The Fire Express EX-CR is a butt-stiff shaft designed for golfers who seek distance but are uncomfortable with tip-stiff shafts. To accommodate high moment of inertia heads from US club manufacturers, the butt section stiffness is set low, making club control easy while ensuring the head accelerates firmly at impact. The EX-CR utilizes cutting-edge materials such as TORAYCA® M40X, M50J, and T1100G in appropriate places to maximize durability and performance. It also employs a six-axis braided fabric, and the outermost braided fabric sheet is carefully selected to achieve optimal specifications. As a result, it offers stability and power not found in conventional shafts, while being lightweight and highly maneuverable.
The design also features a three-zone coloring: a clear finish at the butt section showing the braided fabric, black in the middle, and black-clear at the tip.
