"Fire Express Spirits a-AMBAY" is a lightweight model born as the latest evolution of the AMBAY series. Rather than simply reducing weight, it was designed and developed from scratch, inheriting the "OPTIMUM" philosophy of "Fire Express Spirits." It is approximately 10g lighter than the AMBAY, and the center of gravity has been optimized to match the shaft weight.
Its main feature is the WBQ structure, which uses a four-axis braided sheet for the outermost layer along the entire length of the shaft, with the same material layered at the butt end. This design increases rigidity difference, allowing for a speedy swing with significant flex return. Additionally, by suppressing deceleration during mis-hits and utilizing optimal torque, it achieves both distance and accuracy.
The body color is a matte finish, with a red logo, and it is affectionately known as "Red Ambay." It supports a wide range of head speeds from 35 to 42 m/s, making it an ideal design particularly for those who feel that genuine shafts are insufficient, or for players who want to feel the flex while still desiring a solid impact.
