The Fire Express MX-P# has evolved even further as the legitimate successor to Fire Express's popular "MAX" series. While inheriting the distance and stability of the original "MAX-WBQ" and the second-generation "MAX-Plus," the shaft has significantly improved hand rigidity and moderately suppressed mid-section rigidity, creating a flex valley. This design results in a mid-kick shaft that allows players to powerfully strike the ball without the shaft flaring wildly.
It also pairs exceptionally well with recent driver heads that have a long center of gravity, contributing to improved head path stability and impact accuracy. The Fire Express MX-P# is available in four weight categories: 3, 4, 5, and 6. The 3 Special model, in particular, is the lightest yet comes in a single flex setting, extensively uses TORAYCA®M40X, and has a higher vibration frequency (cpm).
Each weight category has its taper finely adjusted, resulting in a slightly lighter and stiffer finish that maintains the overall consistency of the series while improving swing speed. The 5 and 6 weight categories are designed for athletic golfers, characterized by a responsive feel and easy timing.
