The "FireExpress RG-D" was introduced as the first in a concept series from the FIRE EXPRESS lineup, ultimately pursuing a commitment to maximizing distance. This shaft is the culmination of technology and expertise accumulated since the original FIRE EXPRESS, developed to meet the expectations of many golfers, from enthusiasts to professionals.
The "FireExpress RG-D" meticulously selects its materials, making extensive use of high-modulus Torayca M40X. This material optimizes energy transfer at impact, resulting in higher initial ball speed and increased distance. Furthermore, the outermost layer incorporates 6-axis SOFMETA. This material, already proven in the "PROTOTEYP V -full throttle-", provides excellent impact resistance.
The 6-axis SOFMETA enhances the shaft's resistance to bending and twisting, minimizing shaft deflection at impact. This significantly improves its compatibility with high MOI (moment of inertia) driver heads, leading to increased reproducibility during the swing. In other words, it ensures consistent square impact every time, enabling accurate shots.
