Introducing the Designtuning VECTOR GRID, a golf shaft specifically designed for maximizing distance. To surpass its predecessor, we developed a new design methodology and adopted an innovative shaft design using grid analysis.
New Design to Maximize Distance
Through grid analysis, we focused on the fact that even carbon fibers with the same modulus of elasticity show differences in strength when stretched and restorative force when compressed. By combining multiple prepregs, we pursued an optimal stiffness distribution.
Optimized Tip Stiffness
Aiming for stable launch angle and optimized spin, the tip stiffness was finely tuned. This achieved a design that delivers a high trajectory and increased roll without sacrificing distance.
Stiffness Design Compatible with High MOI Heads
Considering compatibility with the latest high MOI heads, the shaft's return at impact is compensated. While suppressing spin, it maintains the VECTOR series' characteristic acceleration performance after impact, realizing further distance improvement.
