Introducing the Designtuning VECTOR GRID, a golf shaft specifically designed for maximizing distance. To surpass its predecessor, we developed new design methods, incorporating an innovative shaft design using grid analysis.

New Design to Maximize Distance

Through grid analysis, we observed that even carbon fibers with the same elastic modulus exhibit differences in tensile strength and restorative force in compression. By combining multiple prepregs, we pursued an optimal stiffness distribution.

Optimized Tip Stiffness

We meticulously adjusted the tip stiffness to stabilize launch angle and optimize spin rate. This design achieves a high trajectory and increased roll without sacrificing overall distance.

Stiffness Design for High MOI Heads

Considering compatibility with the latest high MOI heads, we compensated for shaft recovery at impact. While suppressing spin, this design maintains the VECTOR series' characteristic acceleration after impact, leading to further distance gains.
