Introducing the Designtuning VECTOR GRID, a golf shaft specifically designed for maximizing distance. To surpass its predecessor, a new design methodology was developed, employing an innovative shaft design using grid analysis.

New Design to Maximize Distance

Through grid analysis, we focused on the fact that even carbon fibers with the same elastic modulus exhibit differences in their strength in the stretching direction and restorative force in the shrinking direction. By combining multiple prepregs, we pursued an optimal stiffness distribution.

Optimized Tip Stiffness

To stabilize launch angle and optimize spin rate, tip stiffness was finely adjusted. This design achieves a high trajectory and extended roll, without sacrificing distance.

Stiffness Design Compatible with High MOI Heads

Considering compatibility with the latest high MOI heads, we compensated for shaft recovery at impact. While suppressing spin, this design maintains the VECTOR series' characteristic acceleration performance after impact, leading to further distance gains.
