Introducing the Designtuning VECTOR GRID, a golf shaft specifically designed for maximizing distance. To surpass its predecessor, we developed new design methods, adopting an innovative shaft design using grid analysis.
New Design Maximizing Distance
Through grid analysis, we focused on the fact that even carbon fibers with the same elastic modulus exhibit differences in tensile strength and restorative force in compression. By combining multiple prepregs, we pursued optimal stiffness distribution.
Optimized Tip Stiffness
To stabilize launch angle and optimize spin, we meticulously adjusted the tip stiffness. This design achieves a high trajectory and extended roll without sacrificing distance.
Stiffness Design Compatible with High MOI Heads
Considering compatibility with the latest high MOI heads, the shaft's return at impact is corrected. While suppressing spin, it maintains the acceleration performance after impact—a characteristic of the VECTOR series—achieving even greater distance.
