Introducing the Designtuning VECTOR GRID, a golf shaft specifically designed for maximizing distance. To surpass its predecessor, we developed new design methods and employed an innovative shaft design using grid analysis.
New design to maximize distance
Through grid analysis, we focused on the difference in strength in the stretching direction and restorative force in the shrinking direction, even with carbon fibers of the same elasticity. By combining multiple prepregs, we pursued optimal rigidity distribution.
Optimized tip rigidity
To stabilize launch angle and optimize spin, tip rigidity was meticulously adjusted. This achieved a design that produces a high trajectory and extended roll, without sacrificing distance.
Rigidity design compatible with high MOI heads
Considering compatibility with the latest high MOI heads, the shaft's return during impact is corrected. While suppressing spin, the VECTOR series' characteristic acceleration performance after impact is maintained, leading to further distance gains.
