Introducing Designtuning VECTOR GRID, a golf shaft specialized for maximizing distance. To surpass its predecessor, we developed a new design methodology, adopting an innovative shaft design using grid analysis.

New Design to Maximize Distance

Through grid analysis, we focused on the fact that even carbon fibers with the same elastic modulus exhibit differences in strength in the stretching direction and restorative force in the contracting direction. By combining multiple prepregs, we pursued the optimal stiffness distribution.

Optimized Tip Stiffness

To stabilize launch angle and optimize spin rate, tip stiffness was meticulously adjusted. This enabled a design that achieves high trajectory and extended roll without sacrificing distance.

Stiffness Design for High MOI Heads

Considering compatibility with the latest high MOI heads, the shaft's return during impact is compensated. While suppressing spin, it maintains the acceleration performance after impact—a characteristic of the VECTOR series—thereby achieving further distance gains.
