Introducing Designtuning VECTOR GRID, a golf shaft specializing in driving distance. To surpass its predecessor, we developed new design methods, adopting an innovative shaft design using grid analysis.
With a new design that maximizes flight distance, golfers can experience powerful long-distance shots. Grid analysis revealed that even carbon fibers with the same modulus of elasticity differ in tensile strength and compressive restorative force. By combining multiple prepregs, we pursued an optimal stiffness distribution.
By optimizing tip stiffness, we aimed to stabilize launch angle and optimize spin rate, meticulously adjusting tip stiffness. This achieved a design that produces high launch and increased run without sacrificing flight distance.
The stiffness design, compatible with high MOI heads, accounts for compatibility with the latest high MOI heads and corrects shaft return at impact. While suppressing spin, it maintains the acceleration performance after impact characteristic of the VECTOR series, achieving further increases in flight distance.
This is a meticulously crafted Japanese-made shaft, with design and manufacturing consistently performed in Japan under high-precision quality control. It is a premium shaft suitable for a wide range of golfers, from professionals to amateurs.
