This driver shaft utilizes a high-elasticity, high-strength sheet, which has led to increased speed. It achieves a similar sense of speed to the "HR" high-speed driver shaft in the Fire Express series, while also successfully improving the hitting accuracy. This shaft is the first in the Fire Express series for fairways to adopt "TORAYCA® T1100G" and "six-axis woven sheet," resulting in a lighter yet overall stiffer design.
Furthermore, it incorporates a feature called "Power Chip Structure." This involves attaching a tungsten powder sheet to the tip side, which helps control flex while suppressing toe-down and head rotation. This leads to improved hitting accuracy, reduced power loss on impact, and easier control of the launch angle.
To accommodate the trend towards lighter driver shafts, a 40g class lineup is also available. The exterior features a clear grip section, a silver mid-section, and a black-clear tip section, with the visible six-axis woven sheet at the grip and tip creating a distinctive presence. The matte finish adds a fresh and premium feel.
