The SPEEDER BOOST shaft was created by Fujikura, bringing together all the technology cultivated in the SPEEDER series, to open up new frontiers in distance. Its greatest features are the fusion of VTC Technology and a double kick point design. By intentionally reducing the bending stiffness in the butt and tip sections, the shaft progressively accelerates from the top of the backswing through the downswing and into impact.
The common feeling of unreliability when swinging a soft shaft, and the lack of sensation at impact, are eliminated by VTC Technology. It optimally controls shaft twist, efficiently transferring the energy from shaft recovery to the ball.
As a result, even golfers who are not confident in their swing speed can feel a clear bend, and their head speed and initial ball velocity naturally improve. This makes it easier to time the swing, leading to a stable trajectory and greater carry.
