KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed by KBS, carrying over the feel and performance of the highly-regarded KBS TOUR series of iron shafts. By inheriting the design philosophy of stiffness distribution, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
Particularly noteworthy is the adoption of the "Category System." This is a new standard that integrates flex (stiffness) and kick point numerically. The smaller the number in categories 1-5, the softer and more tip-flexible the shaft; the larger the number, the stiffer and more butt-flexible it is. A major feature is that golfers can choose the appropriate specifications without preconceived notions, not relying on traditional markings like "S" or "R."
With a wide range of weights from 40g to 80g, it can accommodate everything from high-speed golfers to powerful advanced players. While possessing performance durable enough for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
