The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed by KBS, bringing the highly-regarded feel and performance of the KBS TOUR series irons to woods. By retaining the same rigidity distribution design philosophy, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel as with irons.
A notable feature is the adoption of the "Category System." This new standard expresses flex and kick point together numerically. A lower number in Category 1-5 indicates a softer, tip-flex shaft, while a higher number indicates a stiffer, butt-flex shaft. This allows golfers to choose the right specifications without preconceptions based on traditional markings like "S" or "R."
A wide range of weights from 40g to 80g is available, accommodating everything from speed-oriented golfers to powerful advanced players. While possessing performance durable enough for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
