The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed to offer the same feel and performance as the highly-regarded KBS TOUR series of iron shafts. By inheriting the design philosophy of stiffness distribution, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
Of particular note is the adoption of the "Category System." This is a new standard that integrally expresses flex and kick point numerically. The smaller the number from Category 1 to 5, the softer and more tip-flexible the shaft, while larger numbers indicate a stiffer, more butt-flexible shaft. A key feature is the ability to choose the optimal specification without preconceived notions based on traditional "S" or "R" designations.
A wide range of weights from the 40g to 80g class are available, catering to everything from speed-oriented golfers to powerful advanced players. While possessing performance suitable for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
