The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed to maintain the feel and performance of the highly-regarded KBS TOUR series for irons. By inheriting the design philosophy of rigidity distribution, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel for woods as it does for irons.
A particularly noteworthy feature is the adoption of the "Category System." This new standard expresses both flex and kick point numerically. A smaller number in categories 1-5 indicates a softer shaft with a tip-heavy kick point, while a larger number indicates a stiffer shaft with a butt-heavy kick point. A major advantage is the ability to choose the optimal specifications without preconceptions, moving beyond traditional labels like "S" or "R."
With a wide range of weights available, from 40g to 80g, it caters to various golfers, from those who prioritize speed to advanced power players. It offers performance suitable for professional use while remaining easy for amateurs to handle.
