The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed by KBS, carrying over the feel and performance of the highly-regarded KBS TOUR series irons. By maintaining the same design philosophy for stiffness distribution, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
Particularly noteworthy is the adoption of the "Category System." This new standard quantitatively integrates flex (stiffness) and kick point, where smaller numbers (Category 1-5) indicate a softer, tip-flexible shaft, and larger numbers indicate a stiffer, butt-flexible shaft. A key feature is the ability to choose the optimal specifications without being influenced by traditional labels like "S" or "R."
With a wide range of weights from the 40g to 80g class, it can accommodate everything from high-speed golfers to powerful advanced players. While possessing performance suitable for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
