KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed by KBS, bringing the highly-regarded feel and performance of the KBS TOUR series irons to woods. By retaining the same rigidity distribution design philosophy, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directionality, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
A notable feature is the adoption of the "Category System." This new standard quantitatively integrates flexibility (stiffness) and kick point, with smaller numbers (Category 1-5) indicating a softer, tip-flexible shaft, and larger numbers indicating a stiffer, butt-flexible shaft. This significant feature allows golfers to choose the right specifications without preconceptions based on traditional designations like "S" or "R."
With a wide range of weights from 40g to 80g, it can accommodate a diverse group of golfers, from high-speed players to powerful advanced players. It offers performance suitable for professional use while being easy for amateurs to handle.
