The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed to offer the same feel and performance as the highly-regarded KBS TOUR series of iron shafts. By maintaining the same design philosophy for stiffness distribution, it achieves both consistent distance and excellent direction, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
Of particular note is the adoption of the "Category System." This new standard expresses flex and kick point numerically. A smaller number in categories 1-5 indicates a softer shaft with a lower kick point, while a larger number indicates a stiffer shaft with a higher kick point. A major advantage is the ability to choose the right specifications without preconceptions, independent of traditional labels like "S" or "R."
A wide range of weights from 40g to 80g is available, catering to everything from speed-oriented golfers to powerful advanced players. While possessing professional-grade performance, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
