The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed by KBS, bringing the feel and performance of the highly-rated KBS TOUR series irons to woods. By retaining the design philosophy of stiffness distribution, it achieves both consistent distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
A notable feature is the adoption of the "Category System." This new standard quantitatively expresses both flex and kick point. Lower numbers in Categories 1-5 indicate softer flex and a tip kick point, while higher numbers indicate stiffer flex and a butt kick point. This system allows golfers to choose the right specifications without preconceptions based on traditional "S" or "R" markings.
A wide range of weights from the 40g to 80g class are available, catering to everything from high-speed golfers to powerful advanced players. While possessing performance durable enough for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
