The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed to offer the same feel and performance as the highly acclaimed KBS TOUR series iron shafts. By inheriting the design philosophy of rigidity distribution, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
A notable feature is the adoption of the "Category System." This is a new standard that quantitatively represents flex (stiffness) and kick point (bend profile) in an integrated manner. The smaller the number from Category 1 to 5, the softer and more tip-flexible the shaft, while the larger the number, the stiffer and more butt-flexible it is. This allows golfers to choose the appropriate specifications without being biased by traditional markings like "S" or "R," which is a major advantage.
A wide range of weights from 40g to 80g is available, accommodating various golfers from those with high swing speeds to powerful advanced players. While possessing performance durable enough for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
For golfers who do not want to compromise on distance, direction, and feel, KBS introduces a new standard for wood shafts that they have seriously developed.
