The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed to maintain the same feel and performance as the highly-rated KBS TOUR series of iron shafts. By inheriting the design philosophy of stiffness distribution, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directionality, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
Particularly noteworthy is the adoption of the "Category System." This is a new standard that expresses both flex (stiffness) and kick point (bend point) numerically. The smaller the category number (1-5), the softer the shaft and the more tip-flexible; the larger the number, the stiffer the shaft and the more butt-flexible. A major feature is that golfers can choose the specifications that suit them without preconceived notions, independent of traditional labels like "S" or "R."
With a wide lineup ranging from 40g to 80g, it can accommodate a broad range of golfers, from those with high swing speeds to advanced power players. While offering performance suitable for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
