The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed by KBS, carrying over the feel and performance of the highly-rated KBS TOUR series of iron shafts. By inheriting the design philosophy of rigidity distribution, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directional control, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
Particularly noteworthy is the adoption of the "Category System." This new standard quantitatively expresses flex and kick point together, where smaller numbers in categories 1-5 indicate softer and more tip-flexible shafts, while larger numbers indicate stiffer and more butt-flexible shafts. A major feature is that it allows golfers to choose the right specifications for themselves without relying on preconceived notions based on traditional labels like "S" or "R."
With a wide range of weights from 40g to 80g, it can accommodate everything from speed-oriented golfers to powerful, advanced players. While possessing performance durable enough for professional use, it is also designed to be easy for amateurs to handle.
