The KBS TOUR DRIVEN (TD) is the first wood shaft developed by KBS, bringing the feel and performance of the highly-acclaimed KBS TOUR iron series to woods. By maintaining the same stiffness distribution design philosophy, it achieves both stable distance and excellent directionality, providing the same smooth swing feel in woods as in irons.
A notable feature is the adoption of the "Category System," a new standard that integrally expresses flex and kick point numerically. Smaller numbers in categories 1-5 indicate softer flex and a tip-heavy balance, while larger numbers indicate stiffer flex and a butt-heavy balance. This system allows golfers to select the optimal shaft without being biased by traditional labels like "S" or "R."
With a wide range of weights from 40g to 80g, the series caters to a broad spectrum of golfers, from speed-oriented players to powerful advanced players. It offers professional-grade performance while remaining user-friendly for amateur golfers.
