The Fire Express MX-P# has evolved even further as the legitimate successor to Fire Express's popular "MAX" series. While inheriting the distance and stability of the first-generation "MAX-WBQ" and second-generation "MAX-Plus," it has significantly improved hand rigidity and moderately suppressed mid-section rigidity, creating a flex valley. This design results in a mid-kick shaft that allows players to powerfully strike the ball without the shaft flaring wildly.
It also pairs exceptionally well with recent driver heads that have longer center of gravity distances, contributing to improved head path stability and impact accuracy. The Fire Express MX-P# is available in four weight categories: 3, 4, 5, and 6. The 3 Special model, in particular, is the lightest yet features a single flex setting, extensively using TORAYCA® M40X to achieve a higher vibration frequency (cpm).
The taper is finely adjusted for each weight category, resulting in a slightly lighter and stiffer finish that enhances swing speed while maintaining the overall consistency of the series. The 5 and 6 weight categories are designed for athletic golfers, characterized by a responsive feel and ease of timing.
