The Fire Express MX-P# has evolved further as the legitimate successor to the popular "MAX" series from Fire Express. While inheriting the distance and stability of the original "MAX-WBQ" and the second-generation "MAX-Plus," it has significantly improved butt rigidity and moderately suppressed mid-section rigidity, creating a "valley" in its flex. This design results in a mid-kick shaft that allows players to hit powerfully without the shaft over-flexing.
It also pairs exceptionally well with recent driver heads that have a long center of gravity, contributing to stable head trajectory and improved impact efficiency. The Fire Express MX-P# is available in four weight categories: 3, 4, 5, and 6. The 3 Special model, in particular, is the lightest yet features a single flex setting, using a large amount of TORAYCA® M40X to achieve a higher vibration frequency (cpm).
Each weight category has finely tuned taper adjustments, resulting in a slightly lighter and stiffer feel, which maintains consistency across the series while improving swing speed. The 5 and 6 weight categories are designed for athletic golfers, characterized by a responsive feel and ease of timing.
