The Fire Express MX-P# has evolved even further as the legitimate successor to the popular "MAX" series from Fire Express. While inheriting the distance and stability of the first-generation "MAX-WBQ" and second-generation "MAX-Plus," it has significantly improved hand rigidity and moderately suppressed mid-section rigidity, creating a flex valley. This design results in a mid-kick shaft that allows players to powerfully hit the ball without the shaft flaring wildly.
It also pairs exceptionally well with recent driver heads that have a longer center of gravity, contributing to improved head path stability and impact efficiency. The Fire Express MX-P# lineup includes four weight categories: 3, 4, 5, and 6. The 3 Special model, in particular, is the lightest yet offers a single flex setting, extensively using TORAYCA® M40X and a higher vibration frequency (cpm).
Each weight category has finely adjusted tapers, resulting in a slightly lighter and stiffer finish that maintains the series' overall consistency while improving swing speed. The 5 and 6 weight categories are designed for athletic golfers, characterized by a responsive feel and ease of timing.
