The Fire Express MX-P# is an evolution of the popular "MAX" series from Fire Express, serving as its true successor. While inheriting the distance and stability of the first-generation "MAX-WBQ" and second-generation "MAX-Plus," it significantly improves butt rigidity and moderately suppresses mid-section rigidity, creating a flex valley. This design results in a mid-kick shaft that allows players to powerfully strike the ball without the shaft feeling unstable.
It also pairs exceptionally well with modern driver heads that have longer center of gravity distances, contributing to stable head trajectory and improved ball striking accuracy. The Fire Express MX-P# is available in four weight categories: 3, 4, 5, and 6. Notably, the 3 Special model is the lightest, yet comes in a single flex setting, extensively using TORAYCA® M40X to achieve a higher frequency (cpm).
The taper is finely adjusted for each weight category, resulting in a slightly lighter and stiffer finish that enhances swing speed while maintaining the overall consistency of the series. The 5 and 6 weight categories are designed for athletic golfers, characterized by a responsive feel and ease of timing.
