The Fire Express MX-P# has evolved as the legitimate successor to the popular Fire Express "MAX" series. While inheriting the distance and stability of the first "MAX-WBQ" and second "MAX-Plus" models, it has achieved further progress. By significantly improving stiffness in the grip section and moderately suppressing stiffness in the middle section, a "flex pocket" has been created. This design results in a mid-kick shaft that allows players to strike the ball powerfully without the shaft becoming unruly.
Furthermore, it pairs exceptionally well with recent driver heads that have a longer center of gravity, contributing to improved head path stability and ball striking consistency. The Fire Express MX-P# is available in four weight categories: 3, 4, 5, and 6. The 3 Special model, while being the lightest, features a single flex setting and utilizes extensive TORAYCA® M40X to achieve a higher frequency (cpm).
The taper is finely adjusted for each weight category, resulting in a slightly lighter yet stiffer finish that enhances swing speed while maintaining consistency across the entire series. The 5 and 6 weight categories are designed for athletic golfers, characterized by a responsive feel and easy timing.
