The DERAMAX 02 wedge shaft is a high-performance carbon shaft specifically designed for golfers seeking operability and accuracy. While inheriting the design philosophy that made the previous 01 wedge so popular, it has evolved to be even easier to handle by adding the element of "swingability."
All club numbers feature a dedicated design and adopt a "torque flow" structure, achieving a natural flow and consistent feel across all clubs. Furthermore, the UFS (Universal Flex System) accurately manages flex stiffness, which could not be measured by frequency alone in the past, minimizing any discomfort during the swing.
In addition, based on advice from professional golfer Yasuhiro Takeichi, the butt end is designed to be 2g heavier, improving stability during the swing. This counter-balance design enables highly precise control, even for approaches that demand delicate touch and subtle distance control.
