The DERAMAX 03 series wedge shaft is a completely redesigned version of the highly acclaimed 02 wedge model, specifically engineered for wedges to further enhance ease of use. While inheriting the same design philosophy as the 03 series irons, the torque has been optimized to meet the delicate control performance unique to wedges, achieving excellent directional stability and feel.
Kevlar cloth is used in the butt section, combining high rigidity with excellent vibration absorption. This mitigates unpleasant impacts on mis-hits while providing a "solid feel" when struck squarely, and also improves spin control performance.
Furthermore, the UFS (Universal Flex System) flex design minimizes inconsistencies between club numbers and flexes, supporting stable approach shots. Leveraging the expertise gained from the 02 series, it is also capable of handling more advanced short games.
The matte finish design is crafted with coordination with the 03UT and 03 Irons in mind, providing a sense of unity across the entire set and visual consistency between club numbers. It elevates the completeness of your club setup.
