"I want to hit my fairway wood as far as my driver." To meet that demand, the OLYMPIC DERAMAX 05F fairway wood shaft was born. It boasts the same fast snap-back performance as the hit 020D driver shaft (Red Dera), achieving unprecedented distance performance through a repulsion feel and mid-kick design.
While the conventional 02F (Red Dera FW) model was a "sticky" × "mid-to-tip" kick, the 05F has been revamped to a "repulsion" × "mid-kick" design. By allowing the shaft to snap back quickly at impact, head speed and ball initial velocity are improved. This enables fairway woods to achieve distances comparable to tee shots.
Furthermore, the design suppresses launch angle and hooks, creating an ideal trajectory that cuts through the wind with a mid-height flight. Designed for shots from the ground, it also features a structure that suppresses toe-down movement, reducing resistance from the turf and allowing for clean contact.
With a wide lineup ranging from lightweight models to those for hard hitters, you can choose the optimal shaft according to your swing type and head speed. This high-performance shaft combines operability and stability, adding overwhelming distance and confidence to shots from the fairway.
