"I want to hit a fairway wood as far as a driver" – to meet this demand, Olympic has created the DERAMAX 05F fairway wood specific shaft. Equipped with the same fast snap-back performance as the immensely popular 020D (Red Dera) driver shaft, it achieves unprecedented distance performance through its crisp feel and mid-kick design.

While the previous 02F (Red Dera FW) model featured a "sticky" feel with a "mid-to-tip kick," the 05F has been revamped to offer a "crisp" feel with a "mid-kick." The shaft's quick snap-back at impact increases both head speed and ball initial velocity. This enables fairway woods to achieve distances comparable to tee shots.

Furthermore, its design suppresses launch angle and hooking, allowing for an ideal trajectory that resists wind with a mid-height shot. Designed for shots from the ground, it also incorporates a structure that suppresses toe-down movement, reducing turf resistance and enabling clean contact.

With a wide lineup ranging from lightweight models to those for hard hitters, it's possible to select the optimal shaft according to swing type and head speed. This high-performance shaft, combining maneuverability and stability, adds overwhelming distance and reliability to every shot from the fairway.
