The Olympick DERAMAX 05F fairway wood shaft was developed to meet the demand of golfers who want to hit their fairway woods as far as their drivers. It boasts the same fast snap-back performance as the immensely popular 020D driver shaft (Red Dera), achieving unprecedented distance thanks to its explosive feel and mid-kick point design.
While the previous 02F (Red Dera FW) model was characterized by a "sticky" feel and a mid-to-tip kick point, the 05F has been revamped to an "explosive" feel with a "mid-kick point." The shaft's quick snap-back at impact increases both head speed and ball initial velocity. This allows fairway woods to achieve distances comparable to tee shots.
Furthermore, its design suppresses launch angle and hooks, creating an ideal, mid-trajectory shot that can cut through the wind. Designed for shots from the ground, it also incorporates a structure that minimizes toe-down movement, reducing turf resistance and enabling clean contact.
