The "DERAMAX 07 Premium (Blue Dera)" presented by Olympic is an innovative shaft that incorporates the "fast rebound" cultivated in the Red Dera (020 series) while newly adopting a mid-to-butt kick point characteristic. It was finally completed under professional supervision in response to requests from many golfers who said, "I want a butt-kick model with the same excellent repulsion as the Red Dera!"
Its greatest feature is the use of strong boron fiber, also used in fishing rods, in the butt section. This increases the butt rigidity and enables a "counterbalance design" that shifts the balance closer to the butt. This makes the transition during the swing smoother, making it easier to time and creating a stable head trajectory.
While butt-kick designs are generally considered "for advanced players," this 07 Premium is different. The fast rebound provides a natural feeling of the head accelerating, leading to improved head speed and smash factor. It contributes to increased distance and stable direction regardless of swing type or level.
