OLYMPIC's "DERAMAX 07 Premium (Blue Dera)" is an innovative shaft that incorporates a mid-low kick point characteristic while retaining the "fast snap-back" weapon honed in the Red Dera (020 series). It was finally completed under the supervision of professionals in response to the many requests from golfers for "a mid-low kick point model with the same repulsion as the Red Dera!"
Its most distinctive feature is the use of robust boron fibers, also found in fishing rods, in the grip section. This increases the rigidity of the grip and enables a "counterbalance design" that shifts the balance closer to the grip. This smooths out the transition during the swing, making it easier to time and creating a stable clubhead path.
While mid-low kick point designs are generally considered "for advanced players," this 07 Premium is different. The fast snap-back provides a natural sensation of the clubhead accelerating, leading to a noticeable improvement in head speed and ball striking accuracy. It contributes to increased distance and stable directionality, regardless of swing type or skill level.
