The "DERAMAX 07 Premium (Blue DERA)" from OLYMPIC is an innovative shaft that takes the "fast snap-back" cultivated in the Red DERA (020 series) and incorporates a new mid-to-butt kick point characteristic. It was finally completed under the supervision of professionals, in response to the many golfers who said, "I want a butt-kick point model with the same excellent repulsion as the Red DERA!"
Its main feature is the use of strong boron fiber, also used in fishing rods, in the butt section. This increases butt rigidity and achieves a "counterbalance design" that shifts the balance closer to the butt. The smooth transition during the swing makes it easier to time and produces a stable clubhead path.
Although butt-kick point designs are generally considered "for advanced players," the 07 Premium is different. Due to its fast snap-back, you naturally feel the clubhead accelerate, leading to an improvement in clubhead speed and contact consistency. It contributes to increased distance and stable directionality, regardless of swing type or skill level.
