The DERAMAX UX Premium Series, commonly known as "Aka-Dera" (Red Dera), was born as the legitimate evolution of the "02" model, a name synonymous with lightweight yet stiff shafts.
Its greatest feature is the adoption of ultra-high modulus carbon, achieving the fastest flex recovery in DERAMAX history. The speed of the flex recovery leads to explosive distance at impact, transferring swing energy to the ball without waste.
Furthermore, it incorporates Kevlar cloth to improve butt rigidity and damping performance. By providing appropriate weight in the butt end, the hands do not float during the backswing, allowing the clubhead to move smoothly low and long, supporting a stable clubhead trajectory.
This counter-balance effect prevents hitting with just the hands, contributing to stability at the top of the swing and improved ball striking. With a consistent swing tempo, directional stability is also achieved, resulting in an ideal shaft balance that naturally leads to increased distance.
