The new model from UST Mamiya, the "ATTAS RX ULTRA BLACK," is a revolutionary shaft that breaks the mold of conventional tip-stiff shafts. The performance hidden within its cool, black-based design is truly "ultra-easy" to use. It overcomes the challenges typical of tip-stiff shafts, such as difficulty getting the ball airborne and perceived difficulty, while simultaneously addressing the conflicting desires to launch the ball higher and reduce leftward misses.
The biggest secret is the proprietary "Tri-Sync Technology." Its three-layer structure, mimicking bone, muscle, and skin, stabilizes the shaft's movement and maximizes swing consistency. Furthermore, the balance point is designed to be slightly closer to the grip, preventing lagging behind the swing and naturally achieving the ideal launch angle. This reduces hooks and pull-hooks.
In addition, it features TORAYCA T1100G throughout its entire length, with a quad-axial carbon sheet placed at the tip. This design avoids excessive rigidity, balancing ease of swing with resistance to mishits. The result is a new sensation in tip-stiff shafts that offers "flex at the butt without odd characteristics, allowing for a smooth swing-through." Equipped with the newly developed "4-layer composite DUO face," this is the latest driver designed to bring out a player's best performance.
10 layers of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and titanium are precisely bonded with ultra-thin, lightweight nylon mesh and special elastic adhesive. By suppressing excessive deformation, it improves feel and durability, achieving the highest initial ball speed performance in RS history.
The face surface features score lines and shot blast treatment, allowing for a low-spin, powerful trajectory in dry conditions, and stable spin control by draining water in wet conditions.
Furthermore, it is equipped with the "X (Cross) Cartridge" trajectory control system. By adjusting the loft, lie angle, and weight, you can freely customize the ideal draw trajectory to suit the season and course.
