The N.S.PRO 750GH Wrap Tech achieves a balance of lightness and rigidity at 75g, making it the lightest in N.S.PRO steel history.
Special manufacturing techniques coil four-axis carbon fibers (Tetra-Axial) to enhance rigidity and reduce weight, leading to increased swing speed and longer distances. Furthermore, thinning and strengthening the butt section improves vibration dampening, resulting in a comfortable feel.
This shaft allows for a larger swing arc, makes the club head run faster, and provides a good bounce with less deviation, offering both distance and directionality.
<PRGR Iron Strongest Combo>
"Iron combo sets" simply refer to a setup that combines different iron models within a single set.
While it was once common to have "the same model from 5-iron to PW," in recent years, among tour pros, a trend of:
"Forgiving long to mid-irons, and control-focused short irons"
has become mainstream.
1. Why are "combo sets" becoming popular?
There are two main reasons for this:
They are "the evolution of ball performance" and "changes in green conditions."
Increased difficulty of long irons
Modern golf balls have evolved to suppress spin to enhance distance performance.
As a result, with conventional muscle-back (01 series) long irons, even with a pro's head speed, it's becoming more common for the ball to not get airborne easily and for insufficient spin to prevent it from holding the green.
Role change from "driving" to "stopping"
For pros, long irons (4-5 iron) are not just about gaining distance.
They are clubs for aiming at the pin with a high trajectory and firmly stopping the ball on the green.
Therefore, for long to mid-irons,
there's a growing trend to combine highly forgiving models with thicker sole designs or hollow structures.
2. If you're building a PRGR set? Recommended combo
PRGR's 01-02 series is actually a very easy lineup to create combo settings with.
Classic Athlete Combo: 01 × 02
・4-6 iron: 02 IRON (High trajectory, easy to hit far)
・7-iron to PW: 01 IRON (Emphasis on control and feel)
Points
Since it creates a flow where the 6-iron of 02 (28° loft) is combined with the 7-iron of 01 (32° loft),
the loft progression is natural, and there's little difference in feel, making a comfortable combo setting possible.
