The PROJECT X HZRDUS Gen5 Black is the fifth-generation model in the HZRDUS series, which has continuously evolved based on feedback from PGA TOUR players. Designed for utility clubs, it delivers stronger, more stable shots with a clear concept of low launch and low spin.
Its most significant feature is the adoption of cutting-edge 4D carbon fiber, also used in aerospace applications, in the mid-section. This dramatically improves torsional resistance, stabilizing the clubhead at impact. It minimizes "loss of power" even on off-center hits, enhancing directionality and ball speed.
Furthermore, the carbon fiber is designed with optimal angles and placement, efficiently transferring swing energy to the ball. Power hitters can swing through without ballooning shots, attacking the green with powerful, mid-to-low trajectories.
Available in 80g and 90g weight categories, its butt-side design balances stability during transition with excellent control. Its predecessor, the G4, also achieved success on the Japanese men's tour, and the Gen5, inheriting that DNA, will be a reliable weapon for competitive golfers.
