The CHIP-UT, proposed by SONARTEC, is a revolutionary new concept club that fuses the advantages of both a chipper and a utility club.
With a loft of 35 degrees, its design is closer to a utility club than a standard chipper, allowing for an 8-iron equivalent distance and high launch angle on full shots, ensuring the ball stops firmly on the green. Moreover, its ultra-shallow face structure allows the clubhead to naturally slide under the ball without concern for face height, significantly reducing chunking and topping errors and enabling consistent contact.
Furthermore, it features a longer grip, which, when held shorter for approach shots, enhances stability. This allows you to roll the ball with a putting-like feel, making it ideal for running approaches.
The shaft is fitted with the reliable N.S.PRO 950GH (steel). It offers excellent directionality and stability, with a straight launch.
