The Yamaha RMX DD-2 Driver is designed to balance forgiveness and distance.
Featuring the "OCTA ANGLE CARBON FACE" developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Chemical, it achieves the highest initial ball speed in RMX history. The 8-axis laminated structure, surpassing traditional 4-axis and 6-axis designs, minimizes energy loss at impact, maximizing initial ball speed. This allows anyone to experience the maximum speed permitted by the rules.
Furthermore, the new bulge shape, designed based on scientific data for a wide range of golfers with head speeds from 30 to 50 m/s, delivers high shot dispersion even on off-center hits. Even when hitting the heel or toe, the gear effect brings shots back to the center, helping to keep the ball on the fairway.
Additionally, the large head shape provides a high sense of security, and with two weight positions—Standard and DRAW—the club's draw bias can be freely adjusted. It's easy to hit with a draw even with a gentle swing, reducing slices.
The face features a special coating that performs well in both dry and wet conditions, ensuring stable spin performance regardless of the weather.
When combined with the DD-1, up to 80 adjustments are possible through various combinations of loft, weight, and sleeve. This driver head allows you to achieve your ideal trajectory.
For golfers who want easy distance, the RMX DD-2 offers the best draw bias and initial ball speed in RMX history.
